The mission of the Birmingham Social Media Club is to support and promote the social media profession through professional education, networking, community service, ethics, quality and creativity.
The Birmingham Social Media Club plays a unique role in our local social media creative, marketing and advertising community because we strive to maintain a strong network through industry knowledge and education, creative recognition, and opportunities for idea exchange, for both the businesses and individuals who make up the social media professional community in the Birmingham area.

OUR INITIATIVES
Support and promote the social media profession through professional education, networking, community service, ethics, quality and creativity.
Support students that seek a career in social media marketing by awarding scholarships, influencing up-to-date curriculm to schools, and offering workshops/training.
Provide training on social media best practices to business owners, agencies, and young professionals in the Birmingham area.
